The Chicago and Suburbs Remodeling Team With A ZERO
Tolerance Policy For Mistakes
It Can Be Off By A Foot Or Off By An Inch – At 4ever Remodeling,
Any Mistake Is Too Big, No Matter How Small
Your Chicago and Suburbs remodel needs to pass two inspections – yours and OURS. And we’re not very forgiving.
Our standards are high, and we’re obsessed with not making mistakes.
Cabinets not perfectly aligned? Water pressure a little low? Tiles not lined up precisely?
Nope, nope… and NOPE.
Precision. Accuracy. Not cutting corners. That’s what we’re all about.
We’ll put in the extra work. We’ll go the extra mile. But you WON’T ever catch us signing off on work that’s anything less than stellar.
Long story short (remember – we thrive on details): When 4Ever Remodeling completes a project, your typical punch list items do not exist.
That means that when we leave your home for the last time…
ALL your appliances work perfectly.
ALL your doors and cabinets operate flawlessly.
ALL your trimming and moldings are in place.
ALL finishing touches are complete.
Here’s how we make that happen:
We Hire The RIGHT People
We’re picky about who we hire. By picky, we mean over-the-top selective. To give you an idea of just how picky we are: out of 30 applicants, we’ll maybe hire three. Our hiring process usually takes about three months because of the many rounds of interviews.
This is our hiring criteria for our master installers:
- 10,000 working hours or five years of experience (with proof)
- Personality traits that fit with our company culture
- Clean background and drug checks
For our design team, we look for specific personality requirements:
- Open-mindedness
- Ability to listen and empathize with customers
- Can provide smart solutions to problems
- Knowledge of current products
- Willingness to learn new ideas
- Friendliness and drive
This drawn-out hiring process aims to ensure that any employee who steps into your home is the embodiment of our values.
We Follow The RIGHT Rules
In this industry, there is no such thing as “free-styling” it. There are installation standards that must be followed, manufacturer guidelines that must be adhered to, and code requirements that cannot be ignored. If any of those regulations are overlooked, there’s trouble on the horizon.
At 4Ever Remodeling, we’re a sticker for the rules. If a tile has to be leveled because of a specific type of inset, we do it. Our plumbing and electricity are ALWAYS up to code. And every single installation we do follows all manufacturer recommendations.
We Do It RIGHT The First Time
Here’s the secret to a fantastic remodeling project: don’t mess up. That’s easier said than done, but at 4Ever Remodeling, we’ve fine-tuned our process so much that we’ve left VERY little room for mistakes.
At the start of your project, every field team receives the design plans for your remodel and project startup kit that includes heavy-duty X-Board surface protector, a ZipWall system, zippers, plastic coverings, and painter’s tape to separate the working area from the rest of your house. This way, there are no details lost in translation. Then, the project manager conducts a detailed walk-through of your space. By the time construction begins, we’ve ironed out every last detail.
We Have The RIGHT Amount Of Supervision
Most remodeling companies just assume their workers or tradesmen are doing the job right – we ensure that they are. At 4Ever Remodeling, our project managers MANAGE. That’s why they’re at your home multiple times a week.
Every one of our workers or tradesmen receives the plans and design for the remodel. During the execution phase, our project managers visit the job site every other day to make sure that your project is going according to plan.
If there are any discrepancies between the design and execution – no matter how small – the project managers confer with the design team and iron it out. Nothing flies under our radar.
