Who Are We And Where Are We From?

Damian: In 2006, I came to this country from Poland and got my first job as a cabinet maker. I made cabinets for 8-10 months while attending school to learn English. That’s where I was first introduced to remodeling – and I liked it! I did remodeling work for a company for the next two years and got paid hourly.

Eventually, I began taking on side projects on my own. The jobs were tough, but people liked my work, and the referrals started to add up. When I met my wife in 2010, she convinced me to strike out on my own.

In 2011, we opened 4Ever Remodeling.

Diana: When I met Damian, I was pursuing a degree in social work. I knew nothing about how remodeling worked – but I knew how people worked. We started 4Ever Remodeling, and my knowledge of human behavior and thought processes molded how we interacted with our customers and fulfilled their needs.

Why We LOVE What We Do

Diana: We’d walk into an old house that was falling apart and FEEL the disappointment the homeowners felt. Day by day, we’d work on the house and transform it into a different kind of home – one that gave the homeowners a deep sense of satisfaction and safety. Their gratitude would be overwhelming.

Some clients had bathrooms that were outdated, moldy, and so uninviting that they’d DREAD taking a shower. Once we’d convert their bathroom into a comfortable, relaxing bathing space, they looked forward to showering every day!

We had clients who never spent time together as a family. After we converted their non-functional basement into a fun and relaxing retreat, they started spending time together and bonding with each other.

Every day we SEE how our remodeling work changes lives for the better – that feeling of fulfillment is priceless.

Damian: Sometimes, hiccups are unavoidable. They’re part of the process. Our clients are usually anxious at the beginning of the remodeling process. But in the end, when we convert their uninspiring 19th-century kitchen into a beautiful, functional, and uplifting space – when their needs are absolutely met – we can feel their genuine happiness.

How We Stay Focused On The Client

Diana: It’s essential to understand the client’s mindset – to know where they’re coming from and where they want to go. My social work background helps me create customer-friendly communication. I can pinpoint how some communication and behavior can be misinterpreted and remedy that.

So many remodeling companies don’t put themselves in their client’s shoes. That’s what I do all day long. I go to clients’ homes to see how our designers interact with them. I conduct frequent surveys. I manage our protocols. It’s all about improving our approach to clients, understanding them better, and giving them precisely what they seek. Everyone wants something – our job is to figure out what it is and give it to them.

Damian: For us, the bottom line is not to only make money – it’s to be the best at what we do. That’s why we’re always tweaking our approaches, improving our protocols, implementing new technology… We’re always on the move – and that’s how we can stay on top of our clients’ ever-changing needs, desires, and goals.
